about the game

This game is just like noughts & crosses and connect four, just a little more active.

Equipment needed: Cones masking tape or hoops  

Three in a row:

o   The aim of this game is to get three of the same colour cones in a row

o   Arrange the group into two equal teams standing on opposite sides of the room

o   Place either 9 hoops on the floor in rows of three or make a 9 square grid with masking tape in the middle of the room

o   Give each team a pile of the same colour cones

o   When you say GO 1 team member runs to the grid and places a cone in a hoop or square

o   They run back and the next person goes aiming to put the cone in a line next to the other cone

o   Keep going until one team has three in a row

o   Keep the rest of the team moving whist they wait for their turn by jogging on the spot/star jumps etc.

 ·      If you have lots of cones place 16 white cones in 4 rows of 4 (equally spaced out) and play the same game but four in a row
