Firstly a category must be chosen, such as sports, TV shows, farmyard animals etc.   Once this is established the children form a circle and establish a rhythm of slapping their thighs for 2 beats, then clapping their hands while jumping for 2 beats (a kind of slap, slap, clap, clap steady beat should ensue).

While the clapping is happening, the next child in the circle must connect a word to that category, and so the sequence goes on until someone falters.  That child is then out of the game and a new category is chosen.
