Spooky tales are told but will they be so scary when retold at the end? A good memory is essential in this game!
Divide kids into equal teams. Then put half of each team facing each other at opposite sides of room
The first team member will run to their opposite team member and whisper a spooky story sentence in their ear. They most only say it once.
The second team member will run back to third person and whisper the sentence they heard and add another sentence of their own to it.
This repeats until the last person has all their teams’ stories/sentences.
The winners are the ones whose story sounds most like the original versions. No repeating allowed!!
Have the initial story printed on a piece of card, have the end child write their story down, this is an easy way of comparing and helps with laughs at the end!
